Integrative Medicine

Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy at The Cleveland Clinic

Diane Zimberoff, Director of The Wellness Institute, recently completed teaching a certification course in Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy in collaboration with the Cleveland Clinic Center for Integrative Medicine in Lyndhurst, Ohio.

For over twenty five years Diane has trained mental health professionals in Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy, a highly effective and unique clinical model.

Dr. Tanya Edwards, MD, M.Ed., is Medical Director of the Center, and teaches courses on integrative medicine at Case Western Reserve University (http://www.naturalnews.com/020522.html).

In this brief interview, Diane and Dr. Edwards discuss the inclusion of Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy in the integrative medicine program.

In this video you will hear about a study of the major integrative medicine institutions in the country, and where hypnotherapy fits into the milieu. Dr. Edwards mentions the current project commissioned by The Bravewell Collaborative (http://www.bravewell.org/current_projects/mapping_field/) to identify which leading institutions have developed models of integrative care. The survey, which will be completed this year, will provide health care systems and payors with the opportunity to understand which models of care have the greatest potential to improve Americans' health and wellbeing and to reduce the exploding costs—personal, financial and societal—of chronic disease.
